Dear Mom,
I know the road has been a
long and exhaustive one,
Yet before you now sits the finished portrait
of the child you have raised.
Much like you, and much like her father,
yet more like her Heavenly Father.

I know I have not always
been easy to raise.
I know you have had sleepless nights,
And teary days.
Yet on your knees you prayed for me every
night.
And as God promised,
I not only came back to you,
But to my Heavenly Father.

I now have children of my
own,
I know only a bit of the tears you have shed
over me,
For I shed them over their safety as well.
Just like you, I want the best for them.

For you have taught me how
to love,
How to give,
How to be the best Mom and wife.
Just by watching you,
I have learned to be the best that I can be.
I love you Mom!
