How to set up Microsoft Outlook Express to check your email
Please note that your setting may vary slightly depending on your version of Microsoft Outlook Express

Display Name = (put whatever you want here)
Incoming (POP3) Mail Server = mail.domain.com for example mail.townbeacon.com
Outgoing (SMTP) Mail Server = mail.domain.com for example mail.townbeacon.com
Account Name = username@domain.com for example mickeymouse@townbeacon.com Notice that the default entry does not include "@domain.com" part. It is required.
Password = put your account password here
Finish

Mail Tab
Select the email account you just created
Properties
Servers Tab
Check "My Server Requires Authentication"
Click Settings
Click "Use same settings as my incoming mail server"
OK

You may want to create a new "folder" and set up a "rule" so that mail that contains !!!SPAM!!! in the subject line is moved to the new folder you created.
