What People Have to Say....
"There will always be a keen need in the church for gifted Bible teaching evangelists.  For this reason I am glad that
James Galyon is pursuing a ministry of this type.  James represents the best in intellectual breadth and sincere devotion
to the Lord and of witnessing to people of Him.  It is a privilege to recommend him to you."

- Dr. Roy Fish, Distinguished Professor of Evangelism, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary  Fort Worth, TX

"First Baptist Church of Newkirk held evangelistic meetings led by James Galyon.  The 'revival' was not what the congregation
expected, in that there was not so much an emphasis on decisions as there was on repentance from sin.  His messages were
providentially prepared for this congregation.  The messages hit close to home.  I would strongly recommend James Galyon to
any church that values penetrating preaching, and evangelistic zeal.  He certainly refreshed my soul."
- Rev. Rob Boss, Pastor, First Baptist Church of Newkirk, OK

"We have been blessed with James Galyon's preaching and evangelistic ministry among our immigrant community.  He
addressed the real needs of people with the right perspective from the Word of God and he has a caring heart for the unsaved."
- Rev. Ophir DeBarros, Pastor, All Nations Baptist Church of Danbury, CT

"I am delighted to recommend to you James Galyon. He is outstanding in every way. He is committed to Christ and conservative
in theology. He is an outstanding preacher. When he preaches, things happen. I commend him to you for your evangelistic needs.
You will be glad that you used him."
- Dr. Malcolm McDow, Retired Professor of Evangelism, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary  Fort Worth, TX

Frequently Asked Questions
Is James available for pulpit supply?
Yes, James has just completed an interim pastorate in Texas (as of May 2006) and is now available to provide pulpit supply
for churches in and surrounding the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

Can our church host a Great Awakening Conference (even if we are a small congregation in a remote location?)
Certainly!  Great Awakening Ministries exists to serve every church that desires assistance, regardless of size or location.

How much will a conference cost?
It is asked that the church cover travel expenses, lodging and meals for the minister.  Lodging in the homes of church members
is generally preferred.  A love offering will be accepted, but is not required.  If the church is unable to pay for travel expenses, then
Great Awakening Ministries will cover them (as funds are available).

How much advance notice is needed?
Conferences are scheduled on a first-come, first-serve basis.  Scheduling is limited.  For these reasons it is suggested that you
secure a date as early as possible.

How do I book a conference for my church or organization?
Please contact James via e-mail at rev_galyon@hotmail.com.  He will need to know the name and location of the church, and the
preferred dates for the conference.
