Please Note: If you can not find 2lb bags of dried black beans then 4- 1lb bags will work. Also, you can use dried red beans if black beans are not available. Please wrap the bottle of oil in a 2-gallon Ziplock bag in case of breakage. The rice goes in first, then the oil, on either side of the oil is where the sugar, and the peanut butter go, then the 2 boxes of spaghetti, followed by the beans and then the flour. Place the lid on and tape an envelope with $10 for shipping to Haiti. Approx cost of one bucket, plus shipping is $42-45.

About Dr. and Mrs. Doug Pilot
Dr. Douglas Pilot has served Conemaugh Valley Baptist Association as an Associational Missionary since November 1st, 1992. Dr. Pilot had previously served in two churches in Pennsylvania: Greencastle Baptist Church in Greencastle PA from 1976-1986. He then served at Wyoming Valley Baptist Church in Wilkes-Barre PA from 1986-1992 when he came to Conemaugh Valley. In February 1995, Dr. Pilot's first wife, Gail, passed away from cancer. In August of 1995, he met Jeanne Harnish, whose first husband, Merle, had also passed away from cancer, in December of 1992. Doug and Jeanne had known of each other since 1976, while Doug was serving as her brother's pastor at Greencastle Baptist Church. Brother Doug and Jeanne knew on their first date that God wanted them together. They were married October 21st, 1995, following the Annual Associational Meeting. Jeanne was the first person from Penn./South Jersey to be appointed under the newly named North American Mission Board as an Associational Missionary's wife. They gladly serve the Lord Jesus Christ and the Conemaugh Valley Baptist Association. |
