Buckets of Hope NEED to be in by March 10, 2010. Please check the map page for your county and nearest church. If we have no church in your area, contact 814 695- 6101 for help on getting your bucket(s) picked up.

Please Note: If you can not find 2lb bags of dried black beans then 4- 1lb bags will work. Also, you can use dried red beans if black beans are not available. Please wrap the bottle of oil in a 2-gallon Ziplock bag in case of breakage. The rice goes in first, then the oil, on either side of the oil is where the sugar, and the peanut butter go, then the 2 boxes of spaghetti, followed by the beans and then the flour. Place the lid on and tape an envelope with $10 for shipping to Haiti. Approx cost of one bucket, plus shipping is $42-45.

CVBA Supports the Baptist Faith and Message 2000

On August the 14th, 2000. We held our regular Executive committee meeting at Everett Bible Baptist Church in Everett, PA.  The following motion was made  in a special called session and approved:

I move that Conemaugh Valley Baptist Association applaud the efforts of the BF&M committee of the SBC for their work and that we receive their report given, and approved at the annual meeting of the SBC in Orlando, Florida. In receiving their report, we the churches of Conemaugh Valley Baptist Association do affirm, support and agree with the BF&M 2000. Accepting this revised BF&M as our statement of faith.

On October 21, 2000 at our Annual Associational Meeting the following resolution was approved:

Whereas we the Conemaugh Valley Baptist Association  are supportive of, and supported by the Southern Baptist Convention and the North American Mission Board,

Be it therefore resolved that we as the Conemaugh Valley Baptist Association do support and affirm the New Baptist Faith and message as adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention on June 13-14, 2000
