The Lostness of
Spain
In
Spain, 7,000 of the 8,000 cities, towns, & villages
have NO evangelical church. The Billy Graham Association predicts that it will
take another 2,000 years for every city and town to have an evangelical
church, if the gospel continues to grow at its current pace!
Consider the following:
* Only 9% of the world´s
population speaks English, and yet 94% of all ordained preachers in the whole
world minister to them.
* 96% of all Christian
finances are spent in the United States.
* In World War II it was
said that 15 personnel were needed to keep one man at the front. If the
evangelical church in the United States held to this standard for sending
missionaries, it would increase its current missionary force by five times.
The three million evangelicals of California alone could evangelize the world!
Why We Are Here
“How then, can they call on the one they have not
believed in?
And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard?
And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?
And how can they preach unless they are sent?
