DIPLOMA IN MINISTRY TRAINING - BIBLE SCHOOL TEACHERS
Kenya Baptist Theological College is now offering an opportunity for Bible School Teachers to do advanced study in Biblical and Ministry studies. The new program will focus on equipping Bible School teachers for their ministry in training other pastors through the Bible School. Students who have graduated with a Diploma in Theology will be able to earn an Advanced Diploma in Ministry Training. . Students who have graduated with an Advanced Certificate in Theology will be able to earn a Diploma in Ministry Training.
KBTC is offering a new course
specifically designed for Bible School teachers and principals. It will be
one year long, meeting six times each year for two weeks (the regular seminary
schedule) here at Limuru. The program will offer courses in English
grammar, Teaching Principles and Methods, Research Methodology, etc. In
addition, the student will focus on three specific areas of study: New
Testament, Preaching and Interpretation. The objective of the program is
to provide advanced training to our Bible School Teachers and Principals.
The fees for the course are the same as any seminary class. If you are
interested you will need to apply to KBTC for the class. The first class
will be 601, starting July 2002.
In order to qualify for the class the student must be:
a graduate of KBTC or IBTSEA
(Arusha) with an Advanced Certificate of Theology, a Diploma of Theology, or
higher
fluent in English
actively teaching in one or more Bible Schools of the KBTC system
The fees for the program are as follows
Basic Fees:
Tuition per year: 13,500 KSh
Application fee of Kshs.500.00 (one time non-refundable fee)
Caution fee: 1,000 KSh (one time fee)
Medical Deposit 500 KSh (one time fee)
Graduation fee: 1000 KSh (one time fee)
