Loren and Karen have been missionaries with the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention in Nicaragua for 6 years.  He currently is the Strategy Coordinator for Gospel Saturation and Karen in the Volunteer Coordinator.  Loren was raised in Kentucky and Karen in Arkansas.  They met working at the Baptist Mission Center in Houston, Texas and served in Texas for 12 years before going to Nicaragua. 

             They assist in church planting through Operation GO (see next page).  They have led storying seminars with local churches and discipleship training.  They use Bible schools, teaching in schools, movie nights, whatever they can to get the Gospel out to the lost.  Many different opportunities come your way on the mission field.  They have helped in disaster relief efforts after hurricanes and rat plagues.  Sometimes they even get to speak on the radio!

             Karen is a nurse and occasionally works with medical teams.  Karen and Harriet Eager have begun to train the nationals in missions education as they have discovered there in no formal education plan in missions.  

             Please pray the God will continue to show us where He is working so we can join Him in His plans!
