I was born in Memphis, Tennessee on July 21, 1974. I lived in the Lucy community just outside of Memphis until going to Jackson, Tennessee to attend college at Union University.
After graduation I spent two years in Peru working as a journeyman missionary with the International Mission Board. After my two year term in Peru, I spent a year in Miami, Florida working with international students at the University of Miami. It was during that year that I met Rick. On August 14th of 1999 we were married and immediately moved to New Orleans where Rick attended seminary. I now have 3 children or 4 if you count Rick..., yes I now have 4 children and am trying to be the best mom, wife and missionary I can be.
