The Mossi people group (almost 5,000,000 strong) is one of the largest unevangelized people groups in West Africa. The Mossi are also a "Gateway" people because several adjacent unreached peoples could be evangelized by strong, mobilized Mossi churches. Such churches would be developed if a church planting movement could be initiated among the Mossi people. Churches have been established along many of the main roads in Burkina Faso, but the majority of the Mossi people still live in rural areas off the beaten path. Hundreds of villages have no significant Christian witness.
The Mossi People Group Team has a vision to establish indigenous, evangelistic churches in every Mossi village and community. We ask you to pray for us as we work and grow together as a team so that our goal may be achieved. Pray for us as we strive to learn more about the Mossi and their language, Moore.
We treasure your support. If you would like to know more about praying for the Mossi, or how to be a prayer advocate, look at the next three pages.
