Prayer Needs |
| Apr 03 | Please pray for the preaching point at Vili where there have been many problems due to deaths of key members and opposition from witch doctors. Now meningitis has struck some of the children. Pray that the vaccines and treatment they have received will prevent an epidemic there. |
| Apr 03 | Please pray for Peggy Grossman, a retired member of the Mossi Team who lives in Springfield, TN, that she will recover from heart problems and be able to continue her ministry. Pray also for her husband Paul and her children as they care for her. |
| Apr 03 | Please pray for the youth group of Koudougou Association as they begin an evangelism program throughout the area. Pray that many will respond to the Gospel as they witness door to door and as they show the Jesus film. |
| Mar 03 | Please pray for the Baptist Union of Burkina Faso as they have an election of officers for the next two years on March 27. Pray also that the new officers will catch a vision for spreading the Gospel to every part of Burkina Faso and on to all the world. |
| Mar 03 | Please pray for the preaching point at Vili that the Lord will raise up more leaders to proclaim the Gospel there and that people there will be receptive to the Word. |
| Feb 03 | Please pray for the churches in the Sanwabo area of Burkina Faso as they carry out the second phase of a literacy project to teach hundreds of people to read the Bible in the More language. Pray that the Lord will call people out of this group to continue their discipleship and then go out to help start new churches in that region. A number of our current pastors in that area learned to read in Baptist literacy projects. |
| Jan 03 | Please pray for the Mossi Pastors and Church members as they witness to nonbelievers during the Christmas Season. Christmas is a national holiday here, but many do not know the true meaning of Christmas. Pray that their eyes will be opened and that they will understand the message of Christmas. |
| Jan 03 | Please pray for the Burkina Faso Baptist Union as they prepare plans for the new year and work to resolve problems that could hinder their ministry. |
| Jan 03 | Please pray for us as we assist pastors and youth of Koudougou Association in leading a Bible Camp in the Vili area December 23, 24, and 26. Many adults have requested to come along with children and youth and we are excited about the prospects for witnessing we will have. |
| Jan 03 | Please pray for us as we deal with the many people coming to our door these days. A woman came this morning who was a refugee Baptist from Ivory Coast and needed medicine for her husband who was gravely ill. The list of medications made it seem that he probably has AIDS and the cost of the medicine was more than we had to give her. Please pray for this family as they deal with this situation. |

Please pray for the Children's Bible Camp that will be conducted at the Vili Storying Point where we hope to start a new church. Pray that the Lord will direct the pastors and young people from the Koudougou Association who will be leading the Bible Camp, that the hearts of children will be touched by the Gospel message and that the hearts of adults who come to see what the children are doing will also be touched by the Gospel message. |

Pray for the Gibbs family as they begin their stateside assignment in Nashville, TN. Pray that the Lord will guide them as they report to churches on what God is doing among the Mossi people, as they seek to meet family needs for healthcare, education, rest and relaxation, etc., and as they look for more people to help carry the Gospel to the Mossi people. |

Please pray for the Church Planting Course to be taught in Ouagadougou the week of Oct. 21-25. Pray that the pastors and church leaders of this "gateway" city will catch the vision for carrying the Gospel throughout their city and beyond by planting new churches. |

Please pray for Bart and Jane Anne Gibbs and the Mossi Baptists who are working with them, as they endeavor to complete the translation of the evangelistic film "La Solution" (The Solution) into the More language. |

Please pray for the students at the Baptist Union of Burkina Faso Pastors' School as they begin their second and final school year (October-April) that the Lord will bless their studies and prepare them to move on to help plant many new churches. |
