Serenity House / Door Of Hope
currently uses some or all of the following schedule of programs to minister to residents (subject to change without notice at this website - contact Serenity House for info): AA / NA Meetings Residents are required to attend AA & NA meetings on most days of the week. Counseling Residents are required to attend regular counseling sessions facilitated by counselors at the Shelby County Counseling Center. Regular Employment Residents are required to have regular employment. Serenity House does not promise to assist any resident in obtaining employment. Regular and responsible employment is considered an important part of our program. Residents are also required to complete house chores as assigned. God's Recovery Program (GRP) A Christ-centered 12-step program facilitated in-house one day per week. Church Services / Devotionals / Bible Studies Church services, devotionals / Bible Studies are shared 4 days per week. Meditation Residents are required to attend a time of spiritual meditation each day. Weekly One-On-One Meetings Residents meet with a staff member to discuss their progress and challenges and to set incremental, achievable weekly personal goals. |
