Pastor Ron Fish was born on August 6th, 1945, in New Cumberland, West Virginia.  He grew up in the Ohio Valley, among the coal fields and steel mills.  He was born again on August 13th, 1958 at a VBS function in Kyger, Ohio.  He graduated from New Cumberland High School in 1963, and joined the Army in August of the same year.  He traveled to Japan, Korea, Germany, and many parts in Europe during his years in the Army.

    He was called to preach in 1986, and attended Boyce Bible College in Columbus, Ohio, and received Bachelor's Degree from Caroline University of Theology in 1995, and has completed all course work for Master's in Theology.  However, it should be stated that it is not the degree of a college that defines a man, it is the degree of God in the man.

   He is currently the Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Seward.  His main concern is saving souls, teaching the Word of God, and restoring Christianity to those who have gone astray in the Spirit of the Love of Christ.  His one question to any and all is, "Do you know John 3:3 and what it means?"  If you don't, the question is, "Have you been born again?"
