Charlie Miller is the Pastor of the Community Baptist Church of Sproul, PA. Having lived in the Claysburg/Sproul area all of his life, the idea that he would ever start a church in the area would be amazing. "If you would have said to me twenty or twenty five years ago that I would be a Pastor of a church, I would have said that will never happen!" Don't ever say never my friend, when it comes to what the Lord wants you to do.

Bro. Charlie was saved August 6, 1982 and soon after began to feel the call of God on his life to become a preacher. In 1984 his ministry began as a singer with the group EMMAUS. In 1985 he hosted a Children's radio program named The Red Apple Express which ran for two years. Other radio programs were The Word Says, and His Voice.

In 1987 Bro. Charlie really began to feel the call of God to preach the Gospel. He began preaching in several churches in the central PA. region. The Lord called him to fulltime ministry in 1999 as Pastor of the Community Baptist Church.

Bro. Charlie was ordained, and received an Associate Degree in Bible Studies from Grace Bible College in Cary, NC in 1996  He is also a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors.

Bro. Charlie says, "I love to preach the word of God, sing and teach the Word of God."

On February 22, 1986 Bro. Charlie and Sherry Glass were married. Sherry was an answer to prayer. Bro. Charlie had prayed for some time to have a helpmate who loved the Lord and would encourage him in his ministry. Sherry has done that, and has been, " the best wife, partner, mother, and friend that a man could ever ask for."

Sherry also, serves as a teacher of teens and preschoolers, and as a secretary for the Church, and for Bro. Charlie. She also serves a certified nurse's aid in a local care center.

On May 29, 1997 God blessed the Miller family with a daughter Amorette Brooke Miller. "She has been a real blessing to our lives." say both Mom and Dad.
